Adonis Stevenson vs Badou Jack Recap
A draw verdict never seems all that satisfying. That's one of the reasons why Adonis Stevenson's majority draw with Badou Jack on Showtime felt incomplete, even if the draw may have been warranted. Stevenson dominated early, Jack mostly dominated late, and it was at worst a pretty good fight. In the co-feature, Gary Russell, Jr. earned a unanimous decision over Joseph Diaz, Jr... and that concludes Gary Russell, Jr.'s schedule for the 2010s. Just kidding. Even though that could easily be the case. This week on Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio, author and filmmaker Brin-Jonathan Butler joins boxing historian Patrick Connor in recapping all of the madness. But in other news, Canelo curiously shrunk, Josh Warrington skidded out a win against Lee Selby, the light heavyweight picture gets possibly more complex, Brin bought a weird Pay-Per-View, and more!
