We know, we know. Everyone is lamenting the fact that we're not getting Keith Thurman vs Shawn Porter this weekend, but there's nothing we can do about it now. But pay attention, because there's still other stuff going on in boxing that's worth talking about. Or ridiculing. Or whining about. It's yet to be determined. But last weekend saw Luis Ortiz sent Tony Thompson packing in the HBO headliner, while Jessie Vargas scored a surprising victory over previously unbeaten Sadam Ali in the opener. Prospect Antoine Douglas also lost his 0 over on Showtime to Avtandil Khurtsidze, while almost-contender Julian Williams scored another win. Lucas Browne picked up some manner of heavyweight belt by defeating Ruslan Chagaev, too. Don't forget that stuff.
