Well, some of us had to pay a bunch of money to sit through 12 rounds of tedious, one-sided lameness for it, but Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin was officially announced last weekend to a chorus of applause! Canelo-Golovkin is, without a doubt, the biggest fight in boxing on the U.S. side of the pond. It's going down in September, which may still be four months away, but this match-up will deserve all the attention it gets.
