After what seems like forever, with a healthy dose of litigation, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder meet for a third time this weekend.
Anthony Joshua almost got his crack at Fury, but he has unfinished business with Oleksandr Usyk. Instead we revisit an entertaining and sometimes wacky series between Fury and Wilder, two of boxing's biggest fighters.
On this episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast, author Patrick Connor joins forces with Compubox operator and fight historian Aris Pina and filmmaker Brin-Jonathan Butler to attack this Fury-Wilder rubbermatch from several different angles. Join us!

Author Patrick Connor and boxing historian Aris Pina team up again on this episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast.

Many boxing fans and pundits in the U.S. know Otto Wallin simply as the heavyweight who cut Tyson Fury and gave him a lot of trouble a few years ago. But there's definitely more to the Swedish heavyweight contender than that, and he was kind enough to share some of it with us.
On this episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast, Wallin talks about his upcoming fight agains Dillian Whyte on October 30th at the O2 Arena in London, how he came into boxing, the jobs he had before boxing and quite a bit more.

Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua thrilled a crowd at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, battling for 12 rounds on DAZN before Usyk, the former cruiserweight champion, emerged with the win.
What happens next with both fighters? Is heavyweight a health division right now? And what about stuff on the undercard?
All of these things and a bit more on this week's episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast with Patrick Connor and Aris Pina.

There is no shortage of links between boxing and crime throughout history, and we enjoy when those things converge.
In the 1970s, Philadelphia experienced serious gang and mafia violence in some parts of the city. In the middle of the decade, a young fighter named Tyrone Everett emerged as a likely future world champion.
Everett lost a highly controversial decision to junior lightweight champion Alfredo Escalera in 1976, and before a rematch could take place, Everett was gunned down.
On this episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast, Patrick Connor and Aris Pina remember the boxing, the history and the true crime.

We were planning on previewing this weekend's fight between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk anyway, then Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez and Caleb Plant got into a scuffle during a face off for their super middleweight unification.
On this new episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast, Patrick Connor and Aris Pina join forces to tackle what they can.

Have we reached peak boxing insanity yet? If not, heaven help us.
This weekend we watched a lot of combat sports. Between Óscar Valdez's close and somewhat controversial win over Robson Conceição on ESPN, separate bare knuckles events on BKFC and BYB Extreme, and the dreaded Vitor Belfort vs Evander Holyfield exhibition, we were almost overwhelmed.
On this episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast, Patrick Connor and Aris Pina team up to discuss the weekend, and then remember a number of failed comeback attempts from boxing history.

In a more ideal world, we would simply be discussing the fight between junior lightweights Óscar Valdez and Robson Conceição on ESPN this weekend. Instead, Valdez tested positive for a substance called and that's taken over the narrative. Until Oscar de la Hoya got COVID and Evander Holyfield swooped in to save the day and fight Vitor Belfort, that is!
Boxing is wild lately, we have no excuse.
On this episode of the Knuckles and Gloves Boxing Radio podcast, Patrick Connor and Aris Pina preview the weekend, talk a little bit of AEW magic and briefly review Jeanette Zacarias Zapata's recent unfortunate death.
